Emma thinks she has a knack for matchmaking. After one successful attempt, she sets her sights on helping her quiet friend Hailey find love — this time with a guy named Eric. Confident she's doing the right thing, Emma pushes the two together, certain it'll all work out.

But things aren't as simple as Emma wants them to be. As Hailey's hesitation and Ethan's quiet skepticism begin to chip away at her certainty, Emma is forced to confront an uncomfortable truth — her version of "helping" might actually be hurting.

Set over a series of everyday conversations and quiet moments by a creek, Immiscer is a short film about intention, miscommunication, and the way we sometimes overlook what people really need when we're too focused on fixing things.
