Filmmaker. Director. Producer.
Gurdil Dardi
I am a Punjabi-American filmmaker, director, and producer raised between the cultures of two worlds — and shaped by both. Growing up in Sunnyside and Kennewick, Washington, I found in filmmaking a language that could hold everything I had lived, seen, and felt. The camera became the place where my two worlds finally made sense.
My work has earned official selections and nominations at international film festivals across the globe — including the Lift-Off Global Network Film Festival, NanoCon International Film Festival, and the Northwest International Film Festival, where my film competed against 2,964 entries from 194 countries.
I am just getting started. My goal is to build a body of work that tells the stories most people overlook — stories rooted in identity, humanity, and truth. Film is the most powerful language in the world, and I intend to spend my life learning it.
